I was born in Louisiana, raised in Maryland, and attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. There, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Studio Art, and my  Master's degree in Education. After that,  Fairhope, Alabama quickly became the place that I called "home".   I taught in both public and private schools for close to 10 years until our first daughter was born, then opted to stay at home. During that time , I taught some pottery sessions for children, and fused glass sessions for adults, at the Eastern Shore Art Center in Fairhope. Fortunately, I was also able to be an exhibitor at a few of the local art festivals, and participate in community art exhibitions. My husband and I moved our family to Prattville in 2019.

     Teaching Art at Billingsley is an exciting opportunity that allows me to share my enthusiasm about everything artistic and creative with your children. Our art room is a happy place where everybody can express themselves in unique ways through many mediums. There's a lot of talent within these walls!
